Publisher Desc.  Jason originally composed the piano theme in Ballad for Orchestra as a gift for his wife, Rachel, soon after their wedding. Thirteen years later, she expanded the piece into a larger work for full orchestra. Ballad for Orchestra is an expressive composition with lyrical melodies and tender moments, beginning and ending with the original piano solo. The piece will be premiered September 16, 2017 by the Forsyth Philharmonic Orchestra.
