A fantasy-inspired piece driven by a romantic, epic and lush melody, with a nostalgic and bittersweet sound. A Lifetime Ago was composed by Sid Acharya, an award-winning composer from Australia, and arranged by Jared Lane, an acclaimed composer and established multi-instrumentalist from the United States. 

This piece paints the story of reflection, and the feeling of looking back at one's life. As the melancholy rushes in, we become sad that life has changed but we also become happy and grateful to have experienced those great times at all. 

Appropriate to be performed at a variety of events and venues. The mood of this piece does not make it intrusive to church services or formal events. The intermediate difficulty of the performance and readability of the score also makes it ideal for school orchestras.
