The second of a suite of four dances for piano, four hands, effectively arranged for strings.  Composed in the style of a popular Norwegian dance, it makes a delightfully light and buoyant programming jewel.  The dance-like nature of the piece makes it especially appealing to listen to and lends itself to strings extremely well.
