We Three Swing is a jazz waltz based on We Three Kings arranged with lots of ensemble for young jazz groups and a written alto sax solo. The quarter-note tempo is 138 bpm, it has accessible brass ranges, and is easy to assemble. There's an effective interlude after the solo without the rhythm section with the drummer layering back in and then the full ensemble returns. Playable with optional reduced or expanded instrumentations. Nice chart, nice feel! Highly recommended!
