Here's a great setting for younger jazz bands of this favorite! After a slow, six-measure chorale introduction, it breaks into a bluesy style that leads to an all-out gospel rock feel. Highlights include a tempo of 148 bpm, written solos for alto sax 1, trombone 1 and trumpet 1, modest brass ranges, a nice rhythm out interlude, and call-and-response sections. Optional parts are included for expanded instrumentations.
