Tis the Last Rose of Summer

Here is a lovely choral setting of the familiar Irish song set to Thomas Moore's famous poem.  The opening melody alternates between the men and the women before employing rich four-part textures.  A sweetly written flute obbligato adds a wonderful pastoral color to the piece, which will be an elegant addition to any program.
