Three French Folk Songs

Au Clair de la Lune; Fais Dodo and Le Coucou make up this mini-collection; they may be performed together or separately. The set opens with a lilting waltz, follows with a tender lullaby, and concludes with a playful cuckoo song. Each of the brief movements may be sung in French (IPA guides included), English (accurately translated), or a combination of both. This is a great way to teach French to your women's choir.
