The Lenten Sketches

This incredible work is a series of tableaus illustrating the pivotal final days of Christ's earthly ministry: the triumphal entry; the Last Supper; the garden of Gethsemane; and the crucifixion. These events have inspired artists through the ages, and their wonderful creations in turn are the inspiration for this Lenten cantata. With a running time of approximately 30 minutes, it is easily integrated into a worship event.
