In April of 1962 Ella Fitzgerald returned to the studio with Nelson Riddle to record material for the album "Ella Swings Gently with Nelson." This arrangement of Street of Dreams was recorded during that session. Written in a slow swing style, the chart has all of the typical Riddle touches. The instrumentation calls for a full big band (with alto sax 1 doubling flute) with a string section, harp, and bells. A synthesizer part has been included that may be used in the event that string players are not available. This has been prepared from the original Nelson Riddle pencil score, and is not a transcription.
