Paul Baker's take on this wonderful Sigmund Romberg standard is very exciting right off the top! It switches between straight-eighth and relaxed swing feels at around 150 bpm. The creative and tasty features include a written trumpet 1 solo on flugelhorn, written or improvised solos for trumpet and tenor, an outstanding sax soli, and a solo for drums over a horns interlude. The set also includes an auxiliary percussion part and optional parts for flute and vibes. Highly recommended for any performance and especially for contests and festivals!
