Soar Away

A traditional Sacred Harp melody set with text from the American Collection of Hymns and Spiritual Songs, this arrangement is part sacred and part folk which creates an interesting dynamic and marvelous teaching opportunities including some advanced vocal techniques. The verses are largely homophonic with the refrain allowing voices to have some wonderful interplay with each other while adding some body percussion in the way of stomps. Exciting!
