Sic Semper Draconis

Meaning "Thus always dragons" in Latin, Sic Semper Draconis was inspired by fairy tales and fantasy novels. It moves through many different moods and textures to depict an epic tale of dragon slaying. Though the piece features dense instrumentation, most instruments can be found in any band room and will be already familiar to most young percussionists. A complement to almost any concert program - this will certainly entertain audiences and excite young performers!
