Riding The Waves On A Drum is a fun, melodic piece written for a Middle School, Junior High or High School Percussion Ensemble - or Percussion Feature at any concert. The piece is written for 8 to 13 players and includes 5 mallet percussion parts. The piece is a great exercise in ensemble playing for younger groups as the mallet parts share the melody and each part is of equal importance while the other percussion parts work together to provide a strong, steady rhythm.
