Persevere

Medium advanced groups will once again welcome the talents of Mike Tomaro into their repertoire with this composition featuring a straight eighth-note groove which creates a unique setting for creative solo work and exciting ensemble playing. This chart opens with a horns only, highly rhythmic set of stacked two-measure figures, and then progresses to a transitional section leading to the theme. The rhythm section groove is very specific and has been full notated. It will take a little work, but the results will be well worth the effort!
