Maestro Salazar holds a Master of Music degree in Orchestral Conducting from the National University of Colombia, where he studied under Guerassim Voronkov. He later earned an Artist Diploma in Orchestral Conducting from the Lamont School of Music at the University of Denver, mentored by Lawrence Golan.
