Sarah Mattox (composer b. 1974) Mattox is an active composer of art song, opera, chamber music, and choral music. Mattox’s chamber opera, HEART MOUNTAIN, was workshopped in performances with Vespertine Opera Theater in July of 2015 under the baton of GRAMMY Award winning conductor Stephen Stubbs.
