I began arranging and composing while studying music at San Jose State University from 1978 -1981. My instrument was, and still is, saxophone where I studied with William Trimble. Under his tutelage and encouragement I began focusing on works for various saxophone ensemble pieces. I joined The Nuclear Whales Saxophone Orchestra, a well traveled and recorded group in 1987 and remained with them until 2004, I wrote original music and arranged many songs for the group. …Read More
