Knick, Knock

This great novelty piece will be so much fun for the players and audience! It will also help to develop good posture (standing up and sitting down), flexibility in the left hand (tapping on strings and the top of the instrument) and dexterity in the right hand (alternating between arco and pizzicato, and retaking downbow). Bass players have a chance to play a little slap bass. All parts are interesting and melodic and are playable in first position. Your students will have a lot of fun playing this light piece while learning some valuable flexibility skills!
