Jazz Cats

Introduce your students to the melodies and rhythms of jazz from Dixieland to contemporary. Each song has a section for improvising, and the note choices provided will fit with the accompaniment. The performance/accompaniment CD is stylistically accurate and may be used as an example of the represented jazz styles.  The student pages are reproducible, and the songs and advanced soloing scales can be applied to all barred Orff instruments.
