Intermezzo from "Cavalleria Rusticana"

Here is one of the most beautiful moments in all of opera!  This arrangement creates a big, lush sound by writing divisi into every section but the basses: 4 violin parts, 2 viola parts, and 2 cello parts, with some brief solo passages for the concertmaster.  Nothing held back here!  Ideal for combined string groups since the divisi passages have simple parts.  It's from the outstanding new series "Stringmasters!"
