Huber Student Concertino No 4 Op. 8 for Violin and String Orchestra
Dedicated to his student Karl Richter, this vibrant concertino is perfect for developing violinists. Its single-movement structure features a lively first section, a contrasting slow middle, back to the first section material and a playful coda ideal for showcasing a student's ability.
Huber's student-focused music is lively and fun to play. Even his daughter Ruth, his frequent "guinea pig" for new pieces, enjoyed playing his music!
