Particular attention is paid to the word "singing" through rhythmic and chordal punctuation, and through use of the Singing Bell technique, in this perfect choice for any worship service. Both versions of the tune are used: Robert Lowry's original lyric version in 3/4 meter, which uses plenty of LV and the optional use of handchimes; and the more contemporary version which is written in a rhythmic, energetic 4/4 meter, employs the use of malleted bells, and features the hymn tune played in a round. Editions for 2-3 octaves and 3-5 octaves are available, and they are compatible for massed ringing.
