Hidden Dreams is a marvelously arranged piece for high school percussion ensemble. It starts with the mallet instruments creating a reverberation effect by passing around snippets of 16th notes. The body of the piece is a funky groove interspersed with cadence-style breaks in the battery. The intro motif sneaks in here and there and fully reappears at the end. Very cool!
