This bright swing original by veteran composer/arranger Carl Strommen is perfect for developing jazz groups. Appropriate for concert or festival performances, it features adequate rests for brass players with the trumpet range to G5 and the trombone to F4. The chord changes are appropriate for this level and the written or ad lib solo section is open with solo sheets provided in all keys. The rhythm section parts give the drummer a nice concept of what to play, and notated piano voicings and bass lines are provided. Also included is a guitar chord chart.
