Fanfare for Percussion Quartet

This short, strong concert opener was inspired by the movie influences of "The Terminator" and "Capricorn One."  Written for four percussionists, using traditional band room instruments such as xylophone, chimes, snare drum, bass drum and four timpani, the selection features a constant 5/4 meter throughout. Approximately two and a half minutes in length, this exciting and extremely fast piece is perfect for the opening of any percussion ensemble concert.
