Elfis and the Elves Get All Shook Up

This Rise and Shine musical specifically designed to be performed on choral risers is creatively crafted with shortened performance times and limited use of staging and props. In this mini-musical, Elfis decides the elves are always working so hard during the holiday season that they never see how other cultures celebrate. After talking Santa into letting him borrow the sleigh, Elfis takes the elves on a whirlwind tour. They get an opportunity to observe holiday celebrations including La Posada, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, and Christmas gift wrapping. Through this musical journey, the performers and audience learn that our different celebrations should not set us apart.
