Easy Does It

Here's an easy-going swing ballad chart that gives trumpet soloists a chance to stand in the spotlight! With strong support from the ensemble, the solo, with a slightly mysterious air, is entirely written and features an optional improvisation section. As an extra added attraction, the solo ends the chart with a brief cadenza showing off the soloist's bravura. This is a great way to add a quieter selection to any concert program.
