Concerto Grosso

The concerto grosso was the principal form of orchestral music during the Baroque era, highlighting contrasts between a small group of soloists and the full orchestra. Optional solo and tutti markings make this arrangement playable as a full ensemble from start to finish, or it can feature soloists. This piece is an excellent study in Baroque dynamics, with terraced dynamics marked directly into the score and parts.
