Come, Little Leaves

The perfect addition to your fall & Thanksgiving repertoire or concerts! This traditional autumn song has been adapted and arranged for Unison elementary choir using 4 of the 5 original stanzas from the poem by George Cooper. The pretty original melody (by Margaret P. Osgood) has been arranged with call and response sections, simple echoes, a new bridge melody has been added in E minor, and a final ostinato section (with an optional harmony echo part) ends the piece. The song is set in an accessible key for young voices (B3-D4) and the piano part supports adds interest in the unison sections. Approximate performance time 2 minutes.
