Brightest and Best

This lively arrangement is based on a sturdy American hymn tune with a text by Reginald Heber. The accompaniment provides a solid base and colorful riffs while the tune is presented in unison, canon, and adorned with mirrored countermelodies.The refrains grow in intensity following each verse, culminating in a dramatic a cappella outburst. The fiddle and string bass accompaniments are included with the SATB and SSAA versions and are also fully compatible with the TTBB version. Additional string parts are available.
