Boogaloo Blue

This is a hard swingin' bluesy chart that has shades of the great Bill Holman. Over a catchy bass riff, the melody gets passed around during the head, and there's plenty of contrapuntal writing to follow. Solos are for piano and lead trombone, and the drummer gets a little space as well. The lead trumpet part goes up to a written E at one point, but could easily be re-written down.
