This series may be used with children and adults in cases where a traditional method is not the best fit, or as a supplement to any piano method. It is designed to provide the elementary-level reading, technique, and theory skills required for preparatory-level piano literature. The clean layout without instruction allows teachers freedom to adapt it to each student and each situation. The Repertoire book provides students with short, progressive pieces starting on middle-C position. The last piece, Twilight, has students moving to new five-finger positions with each four-measure phrase: C major, F major, G major, and F minor. A CD of duet accompaniments is included. Each accompaniment is presented in at least two tempos: a practice tempo and a performance tempo. The Technic and Theory books support the pieces in the Repertoire book.
