Bandorama

In the very first performance of this piece, the conductor performed with over 850 musicians! Talk about a "Band-o-rama"! For years, directors have asked for pieces that can be performed with mass bands, whether as a culminating number in a multi-school concert, or as a recruitment tool to keep younger bandsmen motivated. In some instances, one school will have multiple bands, each at a different ability level. This piece will meet the need if any of this sounds familiar to you. The amazing aspect of this piece, is that the "sets" that encompass three levels of difficulty, elementary, middle or junior high, and high school, work as an independent piece. The music simply gets better as the groups are combined. What a great idea!
