Bachata for Two

This movement is written for full big band, including woodwind doubles with alto saxes on flutes and B-flat clarinets; tenors on B-flat clarinets; and baritone sax on bass clarinet. Additionally, the rhythm section includes the bachata rhythm section (bongos, gira, and electric bass). The piece is full of the infectious rhythm played by the rhythm guitar in traditional bachata ensembles but adapted for the big band. It features the tenor sax 1 as a soloist.
