Not only is this program a step forward in music education, but it is also a valuable supplement to the teaching of subjects such as language arts and social science. Here are just a few of the 29 outstanding musical selections featured on the recordings: Ohihi Owo Ti Ka Huhahi? (Africa); Simple Gifts (America); Teasing (Bartok); Golliwogg's Cakewalk (Debussy); Funeral March of the Marionettes (Gounod); Bourree from Royal Fireworks Suite (Handel); The Flight of the Bumblebee (Rimsky-Korsakov) and March of the Siamese Children (Rodgers) The "Big Book" contains full color illustrations depicting each musical selection.
