In video gaming-speak, an achievement (also sometimes known as a trophy, badge, award, stamp, medal or challenge) is a meta-goal defined outside of a game's parameters. Some people enjoy playing the games just to unlock these achievements. In the band world, an unlocked achievement could be learning dynamics, or 16th note runs, or anything that presents a challenge to the player. Can your band beat the game?
