Here is the 1944 hit version of Accentuate the Positive, as performed by Johnny Mercer (who wrote the lyrics) and the Pied Pipers, with the Paul Weston Orchestra. The arrangement is scored for full big band, vocal solo and vocal quartet backing group. The chart also works fine without the backing vocal quartet, as their lines have been cross cued into te trombone parts. Alto Sax 1 doubles Clarinet in the opening verse, otherwise there are no other saxophone doubles. The vocal key is F throughout.
