From the Opera "Sadko," this is a flowing arrangement of Rimsky-Korsakov's "Song of the Indian Guest," commonly known in America as "A Song of India." Once widely popular and often over-played this song is making a comeback for its subtle simplicity. Source material for this arrangement is from the original Rimsky-Korsakov score as well as the 1920 Mahew Lake adaptation. Classical in style with an oboe solo (cued in trumpet) on the melody and optional harp part. Brass parts are very easy. It is sure to be a charmer in your next concert.
