Publisher Desc.  When I was younger, my next-door neighbor had a bamboo wind chime on their back porch. Each morning, I could hear not only the sound of them being struck, but also the sound of the wind through each chime. This was the inspiration for Wind and the Bamboo Forest. This piece was originally written for the Navarro College Saxophone Quartet and premiered at the 2022 Texas Music Educators Convention. Filled with not only beautiful pentatonic folk melodies, also jazzy harmonies, I hope you enjoy Wind and the Bamboo Forest!
