Premiered by guitarist Aaron Larget-Caplan at the 4th International Guitar Festival held at the University of Memphis in April 2014, "Two Japanese Idylls" is a complimentary pair of pieces for classical guitar that incorporate the sensibilities of traditional Japanese folk and classical music.
