Publisher Desc.  Commissioned by Old Mission United Methodist Church for their 75th anniversary celebration in 2017. This piece is Dr. Aitken's first hymn arrangement of one of his own hymn tunes. The hymn is based on a poem by Charles Wesley; the fourth stanza of the poem are Aitken's words as he crafts Wesley's poem into something that is very specific to the commissioning church's occasion. An SAB setting plus optional brass provides versatility for smaller churches without compromising the integrity of the piece.
