Like many great Irish love songs, The Maid of Culmore tells the story of man longing for his absent lover, who has sailed away from Ireland and their hometown of Culmore. Skillfully arranged for tenor and soprano soloists with gorgeous divisi choral harmonies that reinforce the Celtic feel, it may be performed with guitar accompaniment (included with the octavo) or alternatively accompanied on the piano.
