Publisher Desc.  A short piece (2'15") in a slow 6/8 meter typical of a Pastorale. In an A-B-A form, the piece starts and ends gently with a buildup in the middle, especially in an agitated piano part. The viola is at a moderate level of difficulty and the piano is a bit harder. The tonality is E major with excursions into atonality. Good for a church service.
