From Craig’s recent CD release Higher Praise (WLP 008054), we offer his contemporary Christmas song that incorporates the cherished “Hark, the Herald Angels Sing” text. Craig’s new melody is lyrical, easily-learned, and invites immediate assembly participation. The refrain modulates up a major third and features four-part choral writing exclaiming, “O Bethlehem, O house of bread, in a manger lay food for the world.” This one will fit wonderfully into any Christmas celebration.
