Based upon a gem of an English medieval carol, this quickly-rehearsed arrangement is scored for SATB voices and soloist with hand percussion and flute. At the end of each verse, the unison burden is "Nova, nova" (News, news). The lively rhythms and modal melody delightfully portray the story of the Annunciation.
