Publisher Desc.  Motherless Child is based on the traditional Negro Spiritual, "Sometimes I Feel Like a Motherless Child". Commissioned by Dr. Jeffrey Francom and the Nassau County Music Educators' Association, this arrangement combines the haunting melody with a blues-inspired piano and tenor saxophone accompaniment.
