"Mo-oz Tzur" (English: Stronghold of Rock) is the traditional Judaic liturgical piyyut sung during Hanukkah after the lighting of lights. In this arrangement for SATB there is a trumpet Prelude of the traditional shofar melody, Shema Yisrael, followed by a Descant over the choir, or Cantor, singing the 13th century hymn.
