Publisher Desc.  March of the Morose Camels. Why morose? Wouldn't you be? Camels is a Grade 1 march written for young bands and portrays the image of camels marching through the desert under a hot sun. It starts far away. As they get closer and closer, the caravan gets louder and louder. All wind parts are easily within a Grade 1 and playable by 1st-year players. The Clarinet, Alto Sax, Trumpet and Horn parts are split and that is mostly for range issues of younger players. Percussion is much busier (8 players) than some Grade I but it is easily playable. The timpani uses 3 pitches and there are no pitch changes.
