Italian Concerto
Publisher Desc.
Originally written for keyboard the Italian Concerto is in the key of F major and consists of three movements: Allegro Andante and Presto. It is much lighter than most other Bach keyboard pieces that have been transcribed for large ensemble. This arrangement is intended to be used as a showpiece for highly proficient ensembles and can be used to demonstrate technical facility while taking the audience for an exciting ride. Music Directors who want a programming alternative to the Toccata and Fugue in D minor should look to the Italian Concerto.
