Five-movement string suite featuring plainchant melodies. Frequent meter and tempo changes throughout as well as other advanced techniques will challenge Grade 4 students while exposing them and their audiences to medieval themes. Movements vary in tempo, key, and mood, from the intense 'Emitte Spiritum Tuum' to the tender 'Caritas Dei' to the sprightly 'Veni Sancte Spiritus.'
